Hot Vinyasa prioritizes strength, balance, and focus. With an understanding that every body is different, our instructors mindfully design each class to always leave you feeling challenged yet refreshed.
Hot Power Vinyasa is an energetic form of Vinyasa Yoga practiced in a hot room. We will move slowly from one pose to another, focusing on breath and alignment. Through intelligent sequencing, your body and mind will be challenged and nurtured. Expect longer holds, an opportunity to direct attention within, and an amazing playlist to move along with!
Hot 26 is the original hot yoga series consisting of 26 postures and two breathing exercises. In this 60-minute class, we do two sets of a few postures. The focus is on breath, form, depth, and stillness in and between the postures. It is geared towards beginners and advanced yogis.
In this high-intensity, low-impact class, you will learn to connect your breath to your form, which will unlock deep inner core strength. Our instructors provide many variations of each exercise to ensure accessibility to all fitness levels. Expect to leave feeling enlivened, empowered, and amazed to realize what you are capable of.
Deepening your practice from Hot Pilates, Hot Pilates Plus incorporates weightlifting principles using hand weights, Tabata timing, and resistance bands for targeted strength training. This class will help you build long, lean muscles, endurance, and overall strength all while having fun.
Body Harmony is a yoga flow with sound immersion. After warming up, we have a brief meditation and a 40-minute warm, gentle sequence with breathwork practice. The sequence is designed to get your energy moving and keep it moving throughout the rest of your day. Class wraps with a relaxing, 15-minute sound journey, using singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments.
Yin complements the familiar Yang yoga practices (especially hot yoga!). Julia-Grace leads Yin with the guidance of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Each class will explore different meridian systems in the body to bring balance to your physical, emotional, and energetic pathways. As this practice is cultivated through stillness, we stay in each shape for 3 to 6 minutes using props and breath to facilitate grounding. This practice is unheated, so bring your cozy layers, as the body will feel more comfortable and relaxed.
Our teachers are experienced meditators, who have studied and practiced for many years. Classes are suitable for all levels. We aim to provide a safe, inclusive community for people to learn and practice mindfulness meditation. As a secular practice community, everyone is welcome irrespective of their tradition, religious affiliation, spiritual identity, or none. Supported by your generosity, a $10-15 donation is suggested to help us cover expenses. Any amount is gratefully received.
Chakras are energy centers that connect to our emotional body and endocrine (pituitary, thyroid, adrenals) system. In this class, we work through a gentle flow focused on a specific chakra center. There will be “holds” in certain postures to allow the energy to move more freely to the chakra of focus. At the end of class, there is a brief meditation followed by breathing and toning to help assist with a final centering. This class is for all levels -- great for beginners and also for adept yogis who want to slow down and drop into their body with guided practice.
